A Rwandan car rental company, managed like one.

East Africa Tourism & Transport Services — EATTS, trading as Kigali Cars — is a Rwanda-based, professionally managed car rental company. We pride ourselves on being customer-oriented: we offer our clients the best rates to suit their needs, and assign you a car of your choice at pocket-friendly prices.

The fleet covers personal, executive and safari use: sedans, compact and seven-seat SUVs, executive 4x4s, pop-top safari Land Cruisers, minibuses and a 26-seat Coaster — all owned and serviced by us, in our own workshop, with an in-house car wash and electric-vehicle charging.

Beyond the keys, we operate tourism: gorilla and chimp trekking, culture and heritage, sports and adventure. One office in Kigali answers for the car, the permit and the route.

Newer cars than the market

We own and maintain the fleet — we are not a middleman renting out old private cars. Clients tell us ours are in far better shape than what they hired before.

One person, responsive

Christian and Anicet handle bookings personally. Questions get answered before you land, and while you are on the road.

Delivered to you, free

We drop the car at your hotel, hostel or the airport with a full tank, and collect it wherever you finish — Kigali, Kibuye, Gisenyi.

Small favours, done

Bags kept at the office while you hike the Congo–Nile Trail, an extra jerrycan, a route redrawn at short notice.

What we do

Transport and tourism, under one licence.

Take the keys and set your own pace. RAV4s and 4x4s delivered free, with a full tank, a local SIM and offline maps.
Add a professional driver-guide to any car for $35 a day, meals and lodging included. English, French and Kinyarwanda.
Land Cruiser Prados, Fortuners, Hilux pickups and pop-top safari Land Cruisers for the murram roads to the parks — self-drive or with a driver-guide.
Met at arrivals with a name board and driven to your hotel, lodge or straight up-country.
