Insurance & damage policy
Every vehicle is insured. This explains what is covered, the deposit that sits behind it, and how any damage is handled.

What's covered
All rentals include third-party and vehicle insurance valid throughout Rwanda. Cross-border travel (Uganda, Tanzania) requires additional papers, arranged on request.
Security deposit and excess
A refundable deposit is held for the rental (from $500 for self-drive). In the event of damage, the excess is deducted from the deposit; the balance is returned once the vehicle is inspected.
Roadside support
Roadside assistance is included. If a mechanical fault takes a vehicle off the road, we replace it or recover you at no charge.
